Pinon Hills Retreats
A one-day Antaryoga retreat for inner communion, with Vishnusahasranam chanting and Om calligraphy
Place: Vedanta Retreat, Pinon Hills
Date: May 31, Saturday
Time: 9:30am-4:00pm
Led by: Pravrajika Dayaprana
If we stop talking, we become aware of our actions, what we are doing,
and we notice something in which we are One. This feeling of Oneness is very precious in our life.
This retreat provides the chance to do our own sadhana through silence.
In this retreat we try to use our senses for the Divine only.
We will use our voice only for Vishnu Sahasranama and some chantings.
The group chanting will last for about 2 hours. There will be three meditation sessions to think of the all-pervading existence.
After chanting, we will do the calligraphy “Om”. Through the calligraphy, we can learn how to concentrate in the present moment. Calligraphy needs our power of concentration and awareness. Through this we can cultivate it.
This retreat is for those who already practice meditation (no instruction for meditation).
After this retreat, we will not meet until September. There will be three retreats in the fall.
The retreat is by reservation only. Contact Pravrajika Dayaprana at (323) 960-1729 Ext. 88 for reservations and questions. Directions and program will be sent to you.
